Goshen Local Schools is proud of its music education and band programs.

Overview of the program by grade level:

Concert Band - Grades 6-12

• Meets daily during school hours

• Approximately 3 after-school concerts per school year

Marching Band - Grades 8-12

• Practices after school 2-3 days a week in the fall

• Performances at varsity football games on Fridays as well as competitions and festivals on select Saturdays throughout the fall.

• Marching band members are also encouraged to participate in Pep Band at basketball games in the winter

Jazz Band - Grades 9-12

Instruments and Lessons

Goshen families may get more information about renting a band instrument from Buddy Rogers.

Students are encouraged to practice regularly and may even seek private lessons to improve their performances on their instrument. Local music lessons may be obtained from Angel's House of Music or Loveland Music Academy.
