Hi! I'm Ms. Schmidbauer. I am new to the Goshen district, but I have been an Intervention Specialist at the high school level for going on 5 years. I graduated from Amelia High School in 2007. I went to Ohio University to study Special Education and graduated in 2011. From there, I moved to St. Petersburg, Florida to begin my teaching career. I taught Intervention-EBD Unit Algebra and Geometry at Boca Ciega HS for 2 years, then decided to move back to Ohio. I taught Resource English at Clermont Northeastern High School for 2 years and I also served as their Special Education Department Chair and Student Senate advisor. My father began his career here at Goshen and also retired from here. All of my siblings went to school in the district, and my mom is also an alumni! My step-mother also served as an Administrator here until she retired a few years ago. My roots in Goshen go back deeply, and I am so happy to be here today!

I will be working with our special needs students in 9-12th grade. I will be intervening in Math and English classes here at Goshen HS, as well as teaching Writing in the Warrior PATH program. I am also coaching JV volleyball!

I'm looking forward to a great school year. If you need anything, please don't hesitate to contact me! Thank you!
