About Me

I am a 1994 graduate of Goshen High School. I received my B.A. in Special Education and in Elementary Education from Morehead State University in 1998. I received my M.A. in Gifted / Elementary Education from Northern Kentucky University in 2004. I am highly qualified in the area of Language Arts. I am currently studying for my certification test to become a Board Certified Behavior Analyst. Working with students who struggle behaviorally is my favorite thing!

Before teaching at Goshen High School and Goshen Middle School, I taught at Highlands Middle and Highlands High schools in Fort Thomas, Kentucky from 1998 to 2004. This is my 20th year teaching students with IEP's.

My husband, James, and I live in the community. We have a daughter who attends University of Cincinnati and a son who attends Marr/ Cook. In my free time, I enjoy reading biographies, playing with my dogs, swimming, and spending time with my family.
