Our Mission

District Vision

public school district and to be recognized as such.

Our mission is to ensure that all students perform at

continuously higher levels.

 

Goshen High School provides a comprehensive curriculum that includes the four core areas of Mathematics, English, Science, and Social Studies. There are courses at both the Honors and the College Prep levels. Courses are available in foreign languages as well as art, vocal and instrumental music, business, and technology. Additional elective choices are available through a building flex-credit program. At risk students are served through the Career Based Intervention, Warrior Path, and ACE programs. There are seven Advanced Placement (AP) courses offered in addition to four dual-credit courses that are offered in conjunction with Zane State College and Southern State College. A small number of students are served at UC Clermont College through the College Credit Plus program. Goshen High School has been consistently rated Excellent by the state of Ohio. The school has been through some dramatic changes in its curriculum over the past five years. Added were the four dual enrollment courses for our students to take advantage of earning college credit while in high school. Dual-Credit Chemistry, Western Civilization, Sociology, and Art History to the repertoire of classes. We have also added a number of new AP courses to our master schedule. Students now have the opportunity to take Biology, US History, Psychology, Calculus, Government, and English Language at the Advanced Placement level.
