College Credit Plus

college credit plus logoCollege Credit Plus is Ohio’s dual enrollment program that provides students in grades 7-12 the opportunity to earn college and high school credits at the same time by taking courses from Ohio colleges or universities. The purpose of this program is to enhance students’ career readiness and postsecondary success, while providing a wide variety of options to college-ready students, at no or limited costs to students and families.

Before taking CCP courses here at Goshen or off campus, students and families should consider a few things:

  • Time management, organizational, and communication skills necessary to succeed in college-level courses
  • The faster pace of the courses, the increased studying and dedicated time required, the need to advocate for themselves and take responsibility
  • Courses may also contain mature content and be more difficult than high school courses

One way to experience a college-level class is by taking advantage of the college classes offered at Goshen High School. Our high school teachers are dedicated to helping students make the transition to a college-level curriculum, and there are a variety of college classes available without having to leave Goshen.
