Super Bowl week is upon us and the Goshen Warrior community is excited to support our hometown Cincinnati Bengals. We will kick the week off with a district-wide spirit week. We can’t wait to see all the red and grey change to black and orange during the week.
Goshen Local Schools will join other area districts by scheduling Monday, February 14 as a day with no school for students or staff. We will adjust our calendar as the year goes on if needed.
Goshen is a proud community that always stands together to support local teams, players, and organizations. As we support our Bengals, many people have suggested we band together to support a local cause. So, we would like to encourage the Warrior community to support a couple of important local initiatives.
First is a great local program: Warrior Packs. Warrior Packs is a volunteer program right from the hearts of people in the Goshen community. Their goal is to provide hungry students with six meals on the weekends throughout the school year. 100% of every dollar donated is used to purchase food for our Goshen students. Donate here today. https://www.goshenwarriorpacks.com/
It is also exciting to see all the positive initiatives the Cincinnati Bengals and their players are promoting.
One player with a local tie is Pro Bowl punter Kevin Huber, the brother of Spaulding teacher Mrs. Emily Strausbaugh.
In 2017, Kevin and his wife Mindi started FUR, The Foundation for Underserved Rescues. FUR provides financial support and resources to Cincinnati area animal shelters and rescues. This is a cause that is important to the Huber family and to Mrs. Strausbaugh. We are asking our Warrior community to help support this great foundation.
You can donate below to this great cause while rooting on Kevin and the hometown Cincinnati Bengals.

As always, we have no doubt our Goshen Warrior community will rally behind these great causes while enjoying a Cincinnati Bengal Super Bowl win on Sunday!
Can we get a big WHO DEY from the Goshen Warrior community?
