GMS, GHS students moving to remote learning Jan 13, 14 2022

January 12, 2022

To the Parents of the Goshen Local School District:

As you know, our district has had many positive COVID cases in recent days.  Because of the large amount of staff and student absences due to COVID, quarantines, and typical seasonal illness, Goshen Middle School and High School students will move to remote learning for January 13 and 14, 2022. Also, please remember that we have no school on Monday, January 17.

By going remote at GMS and GHS, we hope to reduce additional student and staff  absences and that students can return to school the following Tuesday.  Education will continue during remote learning. GMS and GHS students will follow their typical bell schedules and log in to Google Classroom at the appropriate times.

GHS and GMS parents, your building principal will provide additional information in a separate email.

In order to keep our youngest learners here at school, available GHS and GMS staff members will move to Marr/Cook Elementary School and Spaulding Elementary School to assist as needed.  We will continue to assess the impact of COVID over the upcoming weekend and communicate any additional plans accordingly.
